Rabbi Sandra Cohen is a remarkable combination of scholarship, humor and sometimes painful truth-telling. Her ability to share her perspectives on mental illness and Jewish life are reflected and refracted through the prisms of her personal experience, sacred text, and Jewish tradition.  She is a superb teacher and a passionate preacher. She also has the ability to use humor and wisdom to humanize the sometimes-difficult topics that she presents. I highly recommend her as a teacher/scholar in residence.
